第二解劣等門，斷五法修五法，指如三摩呬多地，達師云：能斷五法者，欲惡不善法等，能修五法者，初禪中五支也。

Second, it explains the gate of the inferior and equal, severing five dharmas and cultivating five dharmas, directed to be as in the Samāhitā Bhūmiḥ. Master Da says: "Those who can sever five dharmas sever desire, evil, unwholesome dharmas, and so forth; those who can cultivate five dharmas cultivate the five branches in the first dhyāna."
