第九解猶預門，即是頌中等字所取之初復次也。達師等云：多聞諸聖弟子，是異生也雖是凡夫，學聖法故，云聖弟子。若除却多聞兩字，即是真實聖人也，此文證知也。

Ninth, explaining the topic of hesitation: this is the first further alternative encompassed by the word "etc." in the verse. Master Da and others say: "Many-hearing noble disciples" are ordinary beings; although they are ordinary persons, because they learn the noble Dharma they are called "noble disciples." If one removes the two words "many-hearing," they are truly noble persons; this text serves as proof.
