初解障隨惑尋等，十六行者，一、觀息長，二、觀息短等，如前第七十七卷說。

First is to explain the obstacles, secondary defilements, and discursive thoughts, etc. As for the sixteen aspects: first, contemplating a long breath; second, contemplating a short breath, etc., as spoken of before in the seventy-seventh fascicle.
