一義云：此中四諦，即是律中所明言諍等四也。依智首律師述四分疏云：藥病相治，有其兩番，謂初四毘尼，擬滅四諍中下二品藥，自作一番。第二下三毘尼擬滅四諍上藥，復作一番。

"One meaning says: The four truths here are precisely the four such as disputes of words (vivādādhikaraṇa) explained in the Vinaya. According to the Four-Part Vinaya Commentary compiled by Vinaya Master Zhishou: remedies and illnesses treating each other have two turns; that is, the initial four vinayas are designated as the intermediate and lower grade remedies to extinguish the four disputes, making one turn of their own; the subsequent three vinayas are designated as the superior remedies for the four disputes, making another turn."
