24.55

下對辨對治中，又由修慧乃至必有第二者，謂由修慧於諸諦中，一、獲得諦智，二、亦得四不壞淨。由是因緣於諸諦實遠離疑惑，若於四諦三寶無疑，於四不壞淨亦無疑也，智諦與四諦更互相依，若更有一必有第一也。

Below, in distinguishing the antidotes: regarding "furthermore, through the wisdom of cultivation... up to there must be the second," this means that through the wisdom of cultivation one, with respect to the truths: 1. obtains knowledge of the truths; 2. also obtains the four unshakeable confidences. Due to this cause and condition, one is far removed from doubt and perplexity regarding the realities of the truths. If one has no doubt regarding the four truths and the three jewels, one also has no doubt regarding the four unshakeable confidences. The knowledge of the truths and the four truths rely upon each other; if there is one more, there must be the first.
