下有四別頌釋。初半別頌，解初總義等有四門：一、是總義，二、是自類別，三、似轉，四、三求。

Below, there are four separate verses explaining [this]. The first half of a separate verse explains the first [gateway], 'general meaning and so forth', which has four gateways: first, general meaning; second, specific categories; third, semblance of evolution; fourth, three seekings.
