長行中，初解受生起，先開章立宗，後徵問別解，於中有二，初明有情眾，後約之廣辨諸受生起。文分有二，初約在家出家以辨諸受生起，後約外道內法以辨。前中，初約二眾，以辨二緣生受，後別辨二眾，一明在家。

In the prose, it first explains the arising of feeling, beginning by introducing the section and establishing the thesis, and then inquiring and separately explaining. Within this, there are two: first, it clarifies the assemblies of sentient beings; next, with reference to them, it extensively distinguishes the arising of feelings. The text is divided into two: first, with reference to householders and renunciants, it distinguishes the arising of feelings; next, with reference to non-Buddhists and the internal Dharma, it distinguishes it. Within the former, it first refers to the two assemblies to distinguish the two conditions that produce feeling, and next separately distinguishes the two assemblies, first clarifying householders.
