三十四、果斷支，唯識云：有義：無明唯見所斷，要迷諦理能發行故，聖必不造後有業故，愛取二支唯修所斷，貪求當有而潤生故，九種命終心俱生愛俱故，餘九皆通見修所斷。

Thirty-four: on the limbs abandoned through fruition. The Vijñaptimātratā[-siddhi] says: One opinion holds: Ignorance is abandoned only by seeing, because it must be deluded about the principle of the truths to be able to generate formations, and noble ones definitely do not create karma for subsequent existence; the two limbs of craving and grasping are abandoned only by cultivation, because they lust for and seek future existence to moisten rebirth, and the nine kinds of death-minds are associated with innate craving; the remaining nine limbs are all pervasive to abandonment by both seeing and cultivation.
