依空義者，因性離於勝論我作者，果性離於數論我作者果受諸苦者，然似不離。
Regarding the meaning of emptiness: the nature of the cause is free from the Vaiśeṣika self as agent; the nature of the fruit is free from the Sāṃkhya self as agent and enjoyer of various sufferings; yet it appears as if not free.
