三、法住智是聞慧，真實智謂思修，異生如學而觀深義；或法住智異生聞慧，真實智聖者三慧；或法住智異生身智，真實智聖者智；住教等法故，如實義而知故，是二差別。

Third: knowledge of the stability of dharmas is the wisdom arisen from hearing; knowledge of reality refers to [wisdom arisen from] thinking and cultivation, where an ordinary person contemplates the profound meaning like a learner. Or, knowledge of the stability of dharmas is the wisdom arisen from hearing of an ordinary person, and knowledge of reality is the three wisdoms of a noble one. Or, knowledge of the stability of dharmas is knowledge in the person of an ordinary person, and knowledge of reality is the knowledge of a noble one. Abiding in teachings and dharmas, versus knowing according to real meaning—such is the difference between the two.
