3.57

學業者，謂若異生等者，謂諸異生發三乘心解脫分善已後皆名為學，學業通有漏無漏，無學亦爾。非學非無學業者，謂除前二，餘相續中，所有善不善無記業者。

Regarding "karma of the trainee refers to ordinary persons, etc.": this means that after all ordinary persons generate the mind of the three vehicles and [attain] wholesome roots contributing to liberation, they are all called trainees; karma of the trainee extends to the contaminated and taintless, and the non-trainee is likewise. Regarding "karma of neither trainee nor non-trainee: it refers to all wholesome, unwholesome, and neutral karma in the remaining continuums, excluding the previous two."
