俱舍二十言：舉初顯後，理實通餘，當知此在能發天眼前方便道所有修定者，此第二修，唯以四根本地修天眼，通前加行道及無間道所有修定，此通有漏無漏。

The Abhidharmakośa, fascicle twenty, says: "Mentioning the first indicates the latter; in reality, it applies to the rest." Regarding "one should know that this refers to all cultivations of concentration in the preparatory path that can initiate the divine eye": this second cultivation takes only the cultivation of the divine eye based on the four fundamental stages, namely, all cultivations of concentration prior to the preparatory path and the uninterrupted path; this includes both tainted and taintless.
