基釋云：證心一趣者：已得無尋無伺故者，據得滿智位，此無漏定。後樂異熟者，近資有漏得異熟果，遠得涅槃，借異熟名通稱異熟智，體是一行相分五，故前說言五行相智，唯善無漏名五聖智。

Ji's commentary says: 'Realizes mental one-pointedness'—because it has already attained the state without investigation and without reflection, this refers to the stage of attaining fulfilled knowledge, which is taintless concentration. 'Yields joyful vipāka later'—proximately it assists the tainted to obtain the fruit of vipāka, and remotely it attains nirvāṇa; borrowing the name vipāka, it is collectively called knowledge of vipāka. Its essence is a single aspect divided into five; therefore, it was previously called knowledge of five aspects. Only the wholesome and taintless is named the five noble knowledges.
