釋相中，謂先了知世間實有真阿羅漢正行正至等者，景云：生得善中能了因果名正見等云云：此念即是三摩地相似等者，基云：分是類義，是三摩地相似分類，此念俱時亦有正三摩地。然未是聖正後能斷能滿方名聖正念，俱有定故言亦兼。

In explaining the characteristics, regarding '[first fully understanding that in the world there are truly real arhats, of right practice and right attainment, etc.]': Jing says: In the naturally acquired goodness, being able to fully understand cause and effect is termed right view and so forth, etc. Regarding 'this mindfulness is similar to samādhi, etc.': Ji says: 'Share' (fen) has the meaning of 'class'; it is a class similar to samādhi. At the time concurrent with this mindfulness, there is also right samādhi. However, it is not yet noble and right; only later, when capable of severing and fulfilling, is it called noble and right mindfulness. Since it possesses concurrent concentration, it is said to 'also include [it]'.
