It is also said: 'because one is capable of spontaneously entering and emerging from all stages.' Regarding 'spontaneously capable of entering, etc.': although the distant preparatory mind has an aspiration, when one arrives at this time, one enters and emerges spontaneously. Therefore, emerging from concentration takes three kinds of objects. Regarding 'touching three kinds of contacts': according to the Hīnayāna Vibhāṣā, Nyāyānusāra, and Tattvasiddhi-śāstra, etc., all explain this extensively. Citing for now the twelfth fascicle of the Nyāyānusāra, which states: As the sūtra says, when emerging from the concentration of cessation, one will touch three contacts: namely, immovable contact, nothingness contact, and signless contact. Which are they, and how does one touch these three contacts?
