5.167

若依涅槃經說：中般有四種心，謂受生心命終心學心無學心，學二心般涅槃謂學心非學非無學心。

If according to what the *Mahāparinirvāṇa-sūtra* says: in attaining parinirvāṇa in the intermediate state there are four kinds of mind, namely the mind of taking birth, the mind of the end of life, the mind of a trainee (śaikṣa), and the mind of a non-trainee (aśaikṣa). Attaining parinirvāṇa with two trainee minds refers to the mind of a trainee and the mind that is neither trainee nor non-trainee.
