第三辨因明處中分二：初總問答標；後別顯釋。謂觀察義中諸所有事者，所建立法名觀察義，能隨順法名諸所有事，諸所有事即是因明，為因照明觀察義故。別釋有二：初舉頌列名；後隨別釋。

Third, the section analyzing the science of reasoning (hetuvidyā) is divided into two parts: first, a general question and answer to set forth the outline; later, a distinct presentation and explanation. Regarding 'all facts within the investigated meaning': the thesis to be established is called the investigated meaning; the dharmas that conform to it are called all facts. All facts are precisely the science of reasoning, because as causes they illuminate the investigated meaning. The distinct explanation has two parts: first, citing the verse to list the names; later, explaining them individually in turn.
