第三、辨因明處中分二：初總問答標、後別顯釋。　「謂觀察義中諸所有事」者，所建立法，名觀察義；能隨順法，名諸所有事。諸所有事即是因明，為因照明觀察義故。所餘釋名，如彼疏解。

The third section, analyzing the station of Hetuvidyā, has two parts: first, a general question and answer to set the topics; second, distinct expositions and explanations. Regarding 'namely, all the entities among the examined meanings': the dharmas to be established are called 'examined meanings'; the dharmas that can accord with them are called 'all the entities.' 'All the entities' are precisely Hetuvidyā, because as reasons they illuminate the examined meanings. The remaining explanations of terms are as explained in that commentary.
