所成立義有二：自性、差別等者，此中宗等名為能立自性差別為所立者，自世親前宗名能成，從陳那後宗名所成。邁法師云：理實宗亦能立，就立中能所不分物情無寄，故陳那後宗名所立。

Regarding 'the meaning to be established has two kinds: intrinsic nature and distinction', and so on: here, the proposition (pratijñā) and the rest are called that which establishes, while intrinsic nature and distinction are that which is established. Before Vasubandhu, the proposition was called that which establishes; after Dignāga, the proposition was called that which is established. Dharma Master Mai says: In truth, the proposition is also that which establishes; but in establishing, if the establishing and the established are not differentiated, the understanding of people has nowhere to anchor. Therefore, after Dignāga, the proposition is called that which is established.
