或攝受論宗者，依自所攝宗對異師敵而立自宗，不爾便有相符極成。

Or 'adopting the tenets of a treatise': relying on the tenets adopted by oneself, one establishes one's own proposition against an opposing teacher; otherwise, there would be the fault of proving what is already accepted (siddhasādhana).
