辨因者，謂為成熟所立宗義者，是別因，如說所作性故證聲無常等。依所引喻同類異類等者，是通因，通能成立向前宗義，故舉喻等六種道理助所作性因義成宗。

Analyzing the reason: 'meaning to mature the proposition to be established' is the specific reason, such as saying 'because of being produced' to prove that sound is impermanent and so forth. 'Relying on the cited examples, similar class and dissimilar class' and so on is the general reason, which can generally establish the aforementioned proposition; therefore, citing the six kinds of reasoning, such as examples, assists the meaning of the reason 'being produced' to establish the proposition.
