以彼顯彼中，佛授等有情假，飲食等是法假，遠離此彼中，宅之門等，宅大門小，非周備以此顯此自體，亦非離宅面別有門，亦非以彼更顯於彼，故是俱非。

In 'manifesting that by that', Devadatta and others are nominal designations of sentient beings, while food and drink and the like are nominal designations of dharmas. In 'separated from this and that', in 'the door of a house' and the like, the house is large and the door is small; it is not a complete manifestation of its own substance by means of this, nor is the door completely separate from the house, nor is it further manifesting that by means of that; hence it is neither.
