基師復解：佛為彼天說前三頌時彼領悟，聞前二頌深厭諸欲，聞第三頌捨凌蔑心并斷憍慢。
Master Ji further explains: When the Buddha spoke the preceding three verses for those gods, they comprehended; hearing the first two verses, they developed deep revulsion toward sensual desires; hearing the third verse, they abandoned contempt and severed arrogance.
