第四番釋前三頌中，佛為彼天說前三頌時，彼領悟聞前二頌，深厭諸欲；聞第三頌，捨凌蔑心并斷憍慢。
In the fourth set of explanations regarding the first three verses: when the Buddha spoke the first three verses for that deva, he comprehended them; hearing the first two verses, he developed deep revulsion toward desires; hearing the third verse, he abandoned his contemptuous mind and cut off arrogance.
