下答住捨越五暴流當度六者下，答斷五下分結時。度五根暴流，斷五上分結時，當度第六意根暴流。

The answer below, 'Abiding in equanimity, he overcomes the five floods and shall cross the sixth': this answers that at the time of severing the five fetters binding to the lower realms, one crosses the flood of the five sense faculties; at the time of severing the five fetters binding to the higher realms, one shall cross the sixth, the flood of the mental faculty.
