或有法語亦諦等者，返顯出世二語，以頌初標賢聖語故，其愛語相四十三說，愛語有三：謂慰喻、慶悅及勝益語，廣如彼說。

Regarding 'There may be speech accordant with the Dharma that is also truthful,' and so forth: this conversely reveals the two kinds of supramundane speech, because the verse initially designates the speech of the noble ones. The characteristics of affectionate speech are explained in [chapter] forty-three: there are three kinds of affectionate speech—namely, comforting, gladdening, and beneficent speech, as explained extensively there.
