5.455

清淨諸天眾同分中者，景云：二施所引福智資糧是欲界法得欲天界，亦可彼由此展轉修起靜慮發無漏慧圓滿故，因此後生五淨居天，不出彼天而證解脫，故云證解脫處。故上論云：雜修定者生五淨居，亦可除梵天無想，自外餘天皆是證解脫處。

Regarding 'among the common destiny of the pure devas': Master Jing says that the provisions of merit and wisdom induced by the two kinds of giving are factors of the desire realm and obtain the desire-realm heavens; alternatively, because they gradually cultivate and give rise to dhyāna, developing untainted wisdom unto completion, they are consequently reborn afterward in the five pure abodes (Śuddhāvāsa) and realize liberation without leaving those heavens; hence it is said, 'realizing the abode of liberation'. Thus the text above states: 'Those who cultivate concentration with mixed factors are born in the five pure abodes.' Alternatively, except for the Brahma heaven and the realm without perception, all other heavens outside of them are places for realizing liberation.
