第八一頌釋，分三：初釋初二句，第二彼於此定正安住時下釋第三句，不生愛味無所依止也。第三彼由如是正方便故下釋第四句。

The explanation of the single verse in the eighth section is divided into three: First, explaining the first two lines. Second, from 'When he rightly abides in this meditative stabilization' onwards explains the third line: not generating relishing and having nothing upon which to rely. Third, from 'Because he employs such right means' onwards explains the fourth line.
