Regarding 'kośa': Tai says: 'This is called a cocoon; a cocoon can produce a silkworm. The Buddha's name-body comes forth from his form-body, just as a silkworm comes forth from a cocoon.' Ji says: 'It has the meaning of an egg-shell repository. Attaining bodhi, yet being similar to the form-body prior to attainment, is called "equal birth" because it is slightly similar; the remaining four aggregates are called the "birth of the name-body," which is completely different from its cause and is called "unequal birth."'.
