5.508

言世間下，別釋五，初釋初答。第二又惡說法者由無明門下釋第二答。第三又惡說法者及在家者下，釋第三答。第四乃至彼法末永滅來下，釋第四答。第五若諸有學，斯應顯了下，釋第五答。皆唯釋答不解諸頌，初明染污法若因若果，次明能斷諸染因，次明根總別果蘊滅位，次明於二受不生欣樂得六恒住唯無學法後終盡位，後明異類諸有學者所作眾事。

From the word "world" downward, it explains the five separately: First, it explains the first answer. Second, from "furthermore, teachers of bad doctrines through the gateway of ignorance" downward, it explains the second answer. Third, from "furthermore, teachers of bad doctrines and householders" downward, it explains the third answer. Fourth, from "until that dharma is ultimately and forever extinguished" downward, it explains the fourth answer. Fifth, from "if there are those in training, these should be manifested" downward, it explains the fifth answer. All of them only explain the answers and do not interpret the verses. The first clarifies defiled phenomena, both causes and fruits; the next clarifies the causes able to sever defilements; the next clarifies the stage of the extinction of the aggregates as the general and distinct fruits of the faculties; the next clarifies not giving rise to joy and delight toward the two feelings, obtaining the six constant dwellings, the stage where only the dharmas of non-learners are finally exhausted; the last clarifies the various actions performed by disparate learners.
