諸寶珠等名共相應者，同七寶數，謂可重故，一切處同用，翻此即名不相應也。此六頌中，初三頌明諸有學觀染遠離，後三頌明諸無學觀染永絕。

Regarding "precious gems and the like are termed 'jointly associated'": they share the enumeration of the seven treasures, meaning that because they are valuable, they are used commonly everywhere; the opposite of this is termed "unassociated." Among these six verses, the first three elucidate how those in training (śaikṣa) contemplate defilement and become aloof from it, while the latter three verses elucidate how those beyond training (aśaikṣa) contemplate defilement and cut it off forever.
