5.59

一云，謂覺惠為先聽聞，後時意地領受讀誦及憶念等方是聞惠，其五識初覺惠并聽聞及俱意識聽聞讀誦是生得惠，不明了故。

One says: When preceded by the wisdom of reflective discernment, listening, and later mental reception, reading, reciting, recollecting, and so forth in the mental stage only then constitute wisdom arisen from hearing; the initial wisdom of discernment of the five consciousnesses together with listening, and the concurrent mental consciousness listening, reading, and reciting, are innately acquired wisdom, because they are not distinct.
