5.60

二云，覺惠為先者，是生得惠，若聽聞若領受若讀誦若憶念俱是聞惠俱時五識雖非正聞惠，由從意地方便聞惠所引發故，因聞所成明了心者，亦是聞惠。設雖意地領受讀誦等不明了者，皆生得惠。

The second says: Being preceded by the wisdom of reflective discernment is innately acquired wisdom; listening, receiving, reading, reciting, and recollecting are all wisdom arisen from hearing. Although the simultaneous five consciousnesses are not the primary wisdom arisen from hearing, because they are induced by the provisional wisdom arisen from hearing of the mental stage, the distinct mind accomplished on the basis of hearing is also wisdom arisen from hearing. Even in the mental stage, if reception, reading, reciting, and so forth are indistinct, they are all innately acquired wisdom.
