6.147

言如是種子乃至六處殊勝者，如是種子，若離第六識，別有體假可許，墮在多相續中。然此種子，非於六處，別有異相，即於如是賴耶意處，種類分位，有此種子功能，說彼意處，名為殊勝。

Regarding the statement "such seeds ... up to ... the excellence of the six sense spheres": If such seeds had a distinct entity separate from the sixth consciousness, it could provisionally be conceded that they fall into multiple continuities. However, these seeds do not have distinct marks separate from the six sense spheres; precisely in such a type and phase of the ālaya mind sphere, there is the capability of these seeds, and that mind sphere is said to be "excellent."
