解第四門中文分為二：初問；後答。答中有三：初、列二十三人；次、牒解釋；後、結成佛化。

In explaining the fourth gate, the text is divided into two: first, questions; then, answers. In the answer there are three parts: first, enumerating the twenty-three persons; next, recapitulating and explaining; finally, concluding the Buddha's conversion.
