6.325

於世出世二道資糧有十四法中，自下第九解善友性。於中，初廣；次略；後結。廣中又二：初明善友具足八支；後明由具八支成五善作。前中，初列八支；後次第解。

Among the fourteen dharmas of the provisions for the two paths, mundane and supramundane, from here below the ninth explains good spiritual friendship. In this, there are first an extensive [treatment], next a concise [treatment], and afterwards a conclusion. Within the extensive treatment there are also two: first, clarifying that a good friend is endowed with eight limbs; afterwards, clarifying that by being endowed with the eight limbs, five good deeds are accomplished. In the former, it first lists the eight limbs and afterwards explains them in sequence.
