解具多聞中，能善受持，通語業意業。言善通利者，語業自在，意善尋思見善通利，明意業自在。

In explaining being endowed with much learning: being able to properly uphold applies to both verbal karma and mental karma. As for 'well versed and fluent', verbal karma is sovereign; as for 'mentally well considered and views well penetrated', this clarifies that mental karma is sovereign.
