第三引經二頌證成前義。引初頌中，初句重頌後四句中第四句不捨靜慮；第二句頌前四句中第三事邊際性；第三句頌前四句中初二句；第四句頌前四句中第四所作成辨。

Third, it cites two verses from a sūtra to substantiate the preceding meaning. In citing the first verse, the first line restates the fourth line among the latter four lines: "not abandoning dhyāna"; the second line versifies the third of the former four lines: "the extreme limit of things"; the third line versifies the first two of the former four lines; the fourth line versifies the fourth of the former four lines: "the accomplishment of what was to be done."
