釋增上義中，初開二門；次解；後重釋未盡。有增上慧，引增上心，謂聖弟子乃至捨覺支。有增上心引慧，如前者，此因前說為趣增上慧而修定心此義不盡故今重說。

In explaining the meaning of 'higher,' first two approaches are opened; next they are explained; finally the incomplete [points] are re-explained. 'There is higher wisdom that induces the higher mind, meaning the noble disciple up to the factor of awakening of equanimity. There is higher mind that induces wisdom, as before'—this is because the earlier statement that one cultivates a concentrated mind for the purpose of proceeding to higher wisdom was not exhaustive in meaning, and therefore it is re-stated here.
