解云：若正思惟以思數為體者，應言五根不攝七五，以五根中不攝思故，以是義故知體唯九。
It explains: If right thought took the mental factor of conceptualization (cetanā) as its entity, it should say that the five faculties do not subsume seven and five, because the five faculties do not subsume conceptualization. Therefore, by this meaning, one knows its entities are only nine.
