云何為身者，問所緣身相。云何於身住修身觀者，問能觀體。云何為念住者，問於所緣身不忘失義。云何念住者，問於所緣，若為思審可爾不可爾等安住於念。

"What is body?" asks about the characteristic of the body as the cognitive object. "How does one abide in cultivating the contemplation of the body with regard to the body?" asks about the essence of that which contemplates. "What is the application of mindfulness?" asks about the meaning of not forgetting with respect to the body as the cognitive object. "How is there the application of mindfulness?" asks about how one stably abides in mindfulness by deliberating whether the cognitive object is so, not so, and so on.
