從無間乃至攝心、持心者，若依前卷，具足列名，一、於已生惡不善法為令斷故生欲策勵發勤精進策心持心正斷；二、於未生惡不善法為不生故生欲策勵等；三、於未生善法為令生故生欲策勵等；四、於已生善法為欲令住不忘失令修圓滿令倍修習令其增長令其廣大生欲策勵等。今此文中先明未生惡不善法却辨已生。

Regarding 'from uninterruptedly up to collecting the mind and maintaining the mind': if relying on the preceding fascicle, the names are listed in full: 1. with respect to already arisen evil and unwholesome dharmas, generating desire, exerting effort, initiating vigor, urging the mind, and maintaining the mind for the sake of abandoning them—the correct abandonment; 2. with respect to unarisen evil and unwholesome dharmas, generating desire, exerting effort, and so forth so that they do not arise; 3. with respect to unarisen wholesome dharmas, generating desire, exerting effort, and so forth for the sake of causing them to arise; 4. with respect to already arisen wholesome dharmas, generating desire, exerting effort, and so forth wishing to make them abide, not be forgotten, cultivate them to completion, cultivate them doubly, make them increase, and make them vast. In the present text, it first clarifies unarisen evil and unwholesome dharmas, and then distinguishes the already arisen.
