次問答重辨等分薄塵行相差別，初明等分後明薄塵，初中，答：等分行者乃至非上非勝等者，景云：等分行者具有貪瞋癡慢尋思等行，不同偏增行者貪等增強，故云非上非勝。

Next, through questions and answers, the differences in the modes of practice between equal proportions and thin dust are re-examined; first explaining equal proportions, and afterwards explaining thin dust. In the first part, the answer: regarding "a practitioner of equal proportions... up to... neither superior nor supreme" and so on: Jing said: a practitioner of equal proportions possesses the practices of greed, hostility, delusion, conceit, discursive thought, and so forth, unlike a practitioner of predominance whose greed and so forth are intensified; therefore it is said to be "neither superior nor supreme".
