然此等分行者或時遇緣修不淨行，或觀慈悲愍，乃至遇緣觀於數息與偏者觀行相似。基云：貪行人遇緣即起貪即名貪行者，如此等分人亦爾，隨所遇緣即起貪等即名貪行者與貪等相似。

However, this practitioner of equal proportions at times encounters conditions and cultivates the practice of impurity, or contemplates loving-kindness and compassion, up to encountering conditions and contemplating counting the breath, which is similar to the contemplative practice of one with a predominance. Ji said: When a person of greed encounters conditions, greed immediately arises, so they are called a practitioner of greed; so too is this person of equal proportions: whichever conditions they encounter, greed and so forth immediately arise, so they are called a practitioner of greed, resembling greed and so forth.
