第五解精懃中，精懃有三：一、止不善身語二業；二、止境界攀緣守護根門；三、止煩惱。

In the fifth, explaining diligence, diligence has three aspects: first, bringing to rest the two unwholesome karmas of body and speech; second, halting sensory entanglement with cognitive objects and guarding the sense doors; third, putting to rest afflictions.
