下釋相牽引意，為令當來生支想所攝識名色六處觸受次第生故，今先攝受彼法種子如是一切，名牽引因者，如是七支望生老死當起識等，一切皆是牽引因體。

Below, it explains the intention behind propelling characteristics: in order to cause the successive arising of consciousness, name-and-form, the six sense bases, contact, and feeling, which are subsumed under the conceptualization of the future birth factor, it now first receives the seeds of those dharmas—all such things are called the propelling cause. Thus, the seven factors, viewed in relation to birth, aging, and death, when consciousness and the rest are to arise, are all the entity of the propelling cause.
