三藏云：牽引因正取善惡業體。今此文中，通取行因無明及行所引五支種子，並名牽引因。

The Tripiṭaka Master says: "The propelling cause takes precisely the entity of wholesome and unwholesome karma." In the present text, it comprehensively takes the cause of formations, ignorance, as well as the seeds of the five factors propelled by formations; both are called the propelling cause.
