答中，初、明不淨觀成滿分齊；二、類慈愍等四成滿分齊，故云當知亦爾下，辨差別。謂多分慈心行相顯現非瞋恚相，於能隨順瞋恚纏處法心不趣入乃至廣說心不愛樂心不信解安住於捨深生厭逆當於爾時修觀行者應自了知我今已得慈愍觀，我今已得所修果齊此名為於慈愍觀已得究竟等。

In the answer, it first explains the measure of completion of the contemplation of impurity; second, it analogously treats the measure of completion of the four [practices] such as loving-kindness; hence it says 'One should know that it is also thus' and below, distinguishing the differences. That is, the aspect of a mind of loving-kindness predominantly appears and the aspect of hatred does not; the mind does not engage in phenomena that accord with the entanglement of hatred, and so on up to the mind having no fond attachment, having no conviction, abiding in equanimity, and deeply giving rise to aversion; at that time the meditator cultivating contemplation should know for himself: 'I have now attained the contemplation of loving-kindness; I have now attained the fruit of cultivation; up to this point is called having attained culmination in the contemplation of loving-kindness,' and so forth.
