就教取欣樂相中，云如是曰於一種尸羅清淨為先歡悅，復於除障當生喜悅，若汝獲得前後所證少分差別者，牒問前後歡悅喜悅，於佛或佛弟子及自後時更有所證發喜悅意。如是行相諸適悅意先名歡悅。今名喜悅，總名悅意者，結名總別。

In the instruction on apprehending the mark of delight, it says: 'Thus, being gladdened with one kind of moral purity as a prerequisite, and further generating joy in removing obstacles, if you attain a minor distinction between prior and subsequent realizations...'; this recaps and asks about prior and subsequent gladdening and joy, generating a joyful mind toward the Buddha, the Buddha's disciples, and one's own further realizations later. With such aspects, all agreeable mental states were previously called 'gladdening', are now called 'joy', and are collectively termed 'agreeable mind'; this concludes the general and specific designations.
