8.131

從彼彼眾緣和合有故下至生已不待滅壞因緣自然滅壞已來，明釋伏難。云滅有因緣，謂伏難云：不知生滅俱有因緣已不？今通云：此法由眾緣和合故有生，生即有因緣，不得因緣而自然滅壞，即滅法無因緣也。

From "Because it exists from the coming together of various conditions" down to "having arisen, it does not depend on causes and conditions for destruction, but naturally perishes," it clarifies and resolves a hidden objection. It says that cessation has causes and conditions, meaning the hidden objection asks: "Is it unknown whether both arising and ceasing have causes and conditions or not?" Now it resolves it by saying: This phenomenon arises because of the coming together of various conditions, so its arising does have causes and conditions; but it does not require causes and conditions to naturally perish, which means that the ceasing of phenomena has no causes and conditions.
